Berry Iced Tea Popsicles with Basilur Pomegranate and Blueberry

Berry Iced Tea Popsicles with Basilur Pomegranate and Blueberry

Nov 18, 2024

The best of both worlds, slight sweetness with a hint of sourness, these popsicles infused with berries and lemon are the perfect thirst quencher for the Summer.

Any tea or infusion can technically be made into a delicious popsicle, but cold brew will bring you a different kind of experience. This blend we chose today brings together two of our favourite summer flavours; pomegranate and blueberry.

Ingredients:

04 - 06 Basilur Cold Brew Pomegranate and Blueberry bags

02 cups of cold water

Juice of half a lemon (or as per preference)

03 tablespoons of white sugar (or as per preference)

A handful of blueberries

Directions:

Start by brewing the infusion with cold water, you can use this time to prepare the popsicle molds

Once it has been brewed enough stir in the lemon juice and sugar. Adjust the taste to your liking bearing in mind that the flavours will be less apparent once frozen

Next, chop the berries (in half works the best so you get a small munch as well) and add them to the brewed infusion mix

Pour the infusion into the popsicle molds without the popsicle sticks. After an hour in the freezer push the popsicle sticks to the molds, the consistency is just right to ensure they stick in properly

Pop the molds back in the freezer and leave them in at least overnight

Enjoy your summer treats!

Tips:

To easily release the popsicle, run the molds under warm running water for just a brief moment to make sure you won’t melt them

For another equally satisfying treat of slushies let the popsicles not freeze all way and serve with a spoon

How easy was this recipe? You just need four ingredients and you probably have them in your pantry right now. The only time-consuming part is freezing, so make them the prior night and enjoy them on the go the next morning!
